WHO WE ARE

Celebrating with the local community and our neighbours has always been important to BLSW11.

The Battersea Community Festival is an event which developed out of the former Falcon Road Festival which took place in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the Battersea Jubilee Festival, a collection of events in 2022 celebrating Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Battersea Community Festival is a great opportunity to meet your neighbours and find out what’s going on in your local community. It’s also an opportunity to join in and share your talents, promote your business and generally just engage with your neighbourhood.

Big Local SW11 have supported the development of the festival and are keen to get as many people to enjoy the event as possible!

WHEN AND WHERE IS IT

The Battersea Community Festival 2023 will take place on
Saturday 9 September in Shillington Park (a.k.a. Banana Park)

The park is located at the bottom of Este Road in Battersea which is off Falcon Road behind Clapham Junction station.

What will you find at the festival?

You’ll find local people coming together to see live music, dance performances and enjoying a wide range of food stalls.

There are games and a whole range of activities for people of all ages to get involved in.
There’s also a main stage run by the local radio station Riverside Radio and performers from The Great Battersea Talent Show, will be on stage.

Visit the Battersea Community Festival website to see how you can come along and and get involved!

Here’s an example of the what you can expect based on the fantastic Falcon Road Festival of previous years:
