One of the main aims of BLSW11 is to help connect local people with education, employment and training opportunities in a way that no-one else can offer.
On June 18th Big Local SW11 hosted a jobs, training & opportunity day to signpost local provision and to connect with local people to offer ongoing, individual and tailored support.
Around 70 local people came on the day and enjoyed one to one career advice, workshops and a chance to chat to various organisations about opportunities available.
The following partners signed up to help us deliver a great day – South Thames College, Wandsworth Workmatch, Providence House, Wandsworth Lifelong Learning, WOW Mums enterprise club, STORM, Generate, Well-kneaded, SPEAR, Generate, Business Launchpad, Battersea Power Station, Podium and South London Scouts.
